Evolution’s Call (Vocal Trance)

"Evolution's Call" is a vocal trance track produced with the assistance of the generative AI system Udio.com. The lyrics were written by Claude 3.5 Sonnet. I typically produce tracks that are mainly instrumental. In this one, I tried to do the opposite and had Claude 3.5 Sonnet write lyrics that I then fed into Udio.com.

The text Claude created was a bit lengthy, and the entire track ended up being more than 7 minutes long. One issue I encountered was that Udio was unable to repeat the melody of the chorus due to its limited context window of 130 seconds. By the time the second iteration of the chorus should have started, the first iteration was already outside the context window and therefore inaccessible for extension through Udio.

I managed to work around that problem by remixing the track post-generation and moving some of the vocals from the first half of the track to the second half. I think it ended up working quite well.
