Two Spatial Audio Features Of Mixbus 10

In this video, I explore two remarkable features of the newly released Harrison Mixbus 10 that have gone almost unnoticed in the world of spatial audio production. First, we dive into the ability to use post-fader inserts in Mixbus, which significantly enhances the usability of the Dolby Atmos Composer plugin. We discuss how this feature sets Mixbus apart from other digital audio workstations and demonstrates its convenience when working with Dolby Atmos.

Additionally, we showcase the groundbreaking implementation of Dolby Atmos in the Linux version of Mixbus 10, making it the first music production environment to offer Linux musicians the opportunity to work with this immersive audio technology. Although there are some limitations, such as the lack of support for Atmos bed tracks and the absence of a native Dolby Atmos master file player on Linux, the fact that Mixbus allows users to create Dolby Atmos content on a Linux system is truly remarkable and deserves wider recognition in the industry.
