Create Perfect Immersive Audio from Stereo in Minutes

In this video, I show you how to use INU (Immersive Nulling Up-mixer), an affordable plugin that lets you convert stereo tracks into multichannel mixes for Dolby Atmos production while preserving the original stereo fold-down. I demonstrate how to set up INU with Reaper and the Fiedler Audio Dolby Atmos Composer, explaining how to configure the plugin and route your audio correctly. The entire process is incredibly simple, fast, and costs just 29 British pounds.

I then dive into INU's powerful features, showing you how it separates audio into direct and diffuse signals, allowing you to manipulate everything from LFE and center channel controls to height channels and front/rear balance. While discussing these features, I also address some concerns about up-mixing stereo tracks for Atmos distribution and share my perspective on the matter. The video concludes with a look at some new features added since the plugin's original release, including different channel layout options and a speaker identification system using white noise.
